I enjoy reading your updates, Lyle. They remind me very much of the era of personal blogging. They also remind me that personal stories are powerful and offer a way to connect with people on a deeper level. It’s an encouragement to perhaps start sharing some less edited pieces from my own life, too.
Thanks so much, Sam! Like I said on our call yesterday, I miss the old blogging days. I wish I was a more active writer back then. It’s good to see Substack kind of bringing those vibes back.
I agree. I wish I hadn't been in my moody teenager/early 20s phase in those days, lol. I spewed way too much out into the LiveJournal-verse. And wrote far too much fanfiction. 😅
Such a powerful story, Lyle. And Sharron is right -- you're an inspiration to me as a parent. Thank you for the shout out too!
No problem, Russell! Thanks for sharing so vulnerably. I’ll ping you about doing a coaching session. At the very least, we should catch up soon!
Thank you for this beautiful story, Lyle. Your great love for this little girl is so apparent. You are an inspiration to ALL parents.
❤️
You write beautifully and you are a loving father, husband and I love reading your blogs
Thank you, Barbara! ❤️

Glad I started reading your newsletter. 🙂
