Thanks, Alex! Your post blew me away today too. Props for being so vulnerable and putting it all out there like that

Appreciate that! Feels good to dive into the fear, as I'm sure you can attest to.

So inspiring I resigned from my job! Good writing.

No, that's a lie, I don't have a job.... but if I did... I would have resigned.

So good!! What a creative literary conceit (If I’m using that term correctly?!) I love your technique of the changing meanings of the initials becoming like a Greek chorus, commenting on the plot and advancing it. And it ends with her finally standing for something. Standing (up) for herself. I agree with Sharron’s use of CPS… Congrats Perfect Story!

Hi Lyle, what kind of writing do you coach? You’re so versatile I assume it’s anything the client wants…. fiction, essay/blog type writing, even poetry!? I sometimes subliminally and then overtly notice your effective techniques in your writing, and also I sometimes look for them before being aware of them on first reading; I’m intrigued by them and realize how much they add, and I assume you teach those techniques (techniques which are evidence you would be a wonderful writing coach! 😍 I’m not in the market right now, but I will forward to friends. I learn so much from you here!

Yeah, I don't force anything in particular on the writers I've worked with. For some, it's helping them write more consistently. For others, it's digging deep into structure and prose. I've mostly worked with people who write online, but it's been a wide range of genres. Some writing advice is generally applicable across genres. But there are other things I do sometimes that really only work in a 1:1 setting, even if it's just on Zoom. Thanks for helping to spread the word!
